Rules

Classcraft is a role playing game that is played in the classroom. The goal of the game is to acquire real powers and to transform the classroom into an adventure. Players team up against the class, defeating monsters (homework) and bosses (exams). In Classcraft, players have a class, experience points (XP), hit points (HP), action points (AP) and power points (PP).

A player gains experience points when he accomplishes certain tasks. Examples of such tasks are listed in the table below.

… and Death

When a player reaches 0 HP, he can be revived by a priest. Failure to do so results in death. The player must then roll the Death Die and suffer the penalty shown on the die. The possible penalties are :

  • Nothing
  • Saturday-morning detention
  • Copying a text
  • 10 min less to complete the next exam
  • 5 min less to complete the next exam

The player will then come back to life with 1 HP. When a player dies, all the players in his team suffer 10 damage. A player who dies following this team penalty does not make his team suffer this penalty again.
